Dana has a true passion for hospitality, business, and helping others succeed by building the right team. In this day where Business Owners need more than a consultant, KZ Services fill a market gap in providing the Team that achieves goals by ‘good old fashion hard work’ accompanied by a ‘smarter way of doing things’. Who says you can’t work smarter AND harder! She understands what it means to be in business and aspires to share her expertise with others by supporting them in ways that allow the Owners to focus on earnings. With over 25 years of business experience, Dana currently owns and operates 2 hotels, a hospitality management company, an accounting firm, and a sports travel agency. She also practices real estate under a NC license by providing commercial property management services and business space procurement. In her leisure time, Dana enjoys coaching volleyball, and any team sport her son, Micah, plays, playing drums in the Praise Band at Clemmons First Baptist Church, exploring railroad systems with her other son, Kyler, fishing, and travelling to unique historic hotels with her Husband, Keith

Jeff Burns, Chief Operations Officer

Jeff is a retired Marine and held Top Secret Clearance as a Communications Center Supervisor exemplifying the United States Marine Corps Value in Honor, Courage, and Commitment. After serving his country, Jeff has continued his professional career by serving in Food and Beverage Operations, Cost & Managerial Accounting and Hotel Management. He recognizes that Food and Beverage is a critical component of successful hospitality operations and has a proven track record in delivering impactful results with a tactical approach. In addition to F&B Operations, Jeff is an experienced Controller focusing on Financial Budgeting, Reporting, Cost Reduction, & Profitability Management. Jeff has always been an adventure junky and sports enthusiast. Golf seems to be the sport he plays the most, and some of us think he is pretty good at it. For fun, you'll find him attending games and enjoying the outdoors.

When it comes to record keeping and client relations, Katie takes great pride in what she does. She is a lover of all types of music and animals, and she enjoys lounging around a fire on a cool night with friends.

Christy brings a wealth of knowledge to KZ Services from her various degrees in accounting, forensic science, and anthropology. She spent her recent eight years as a Tax Processor and Accountant for BB&T. Tax and Accounting are her specialties, but don’t be surprised if you hear a clarinet sound coming from her office. Christy is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi and played Clarinet at Western Carolina University Marching Band. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and children.
